Black Gold Winners!!

At the annual Black Gold Festival, Glades Gas gave away their very own Mighty Mac Cooker (a.k.a. the last cooker you will ever buy), a U-line Wine Cooler, and two outdoor cookers to four lucky winners.

Jerome Shannon won the Mighty Mac Cooker, Gonzalo Vasquez won the U-line wine cooler, Dorothy Kennedy and Carl Coffie won the outdoor cookers.

Black Gold

 would like to thank everyone that came out to the Black Gold Festival at the Belle Glade Marina on Saturday, April 17th.

Our turn out was hampered by the rain. Many visitors said they thought that not having a parade also kept people away. We heard one person say that they thought the parade got you fired up to load up and come out to the marina. Everyone who did come out had a great time! It is always beautiful out on the Lake. 

If you haven't been to the Belle Glade or Pahokee Marina in a long time, you are in for a real treat. It is absolutely beautiful out there. We went out several evenings this past week and enjoyed great campside dinners accompanied by the most awesome sunsets in Florida! 

If you have never driven out, take the time and be prepared to take a step back in time.
